The Wheel Fanatyk SCT machine (Morizumi design) should be mounted in a pan that catches excess lubricant and cutting oils, keeping your workbench cleaner. It also gives permission to liberal oiling, a boon for machine smoothness and longevity.
Ours is a heavy gauge (13oz), 12.5" x 10.5", polished 302 stainless pan, designed as a surgical tray. We cut three holes necessary for mounting under the SCT. Only a periodic wipe down is needed. Nice side benefit, the highly reflective surface makes an attractive sight under the chiseled, black spoke machine.
